The hotel is nice...good view, but you can swim in the ocean there. the rip currents are bad on the pacific side and there is no swimming...(we didn't know this before we book the trip), you have to walk to the marina and around to the other side to swim. The hotel is in a great location, 5 mins. to marina. Restaurants within walking distance. Public beach is about 25 mins walking distance, but if you go down the street from the hotel there is a small local beach about 10 mins. There is also a Arts and Crafts market close to the main dock.
