This hotel is just one block from Hidalgo in the Historic District. Walking distance to Cathedral and many restaurants. The hotel has an excellent restaurant for breakfast and is opened at 7 a.m. It is also walking distance, just a few blocks, to the San Francisco Mission which houses the Mask Museum with more than 4,000 masks. Rooms very small with very small bathrooms. A group of students were staying at the hotel and made lots of noise until 130 in the morning. Hotel desk did not do anything to stop the noise. Great location but noise made it intolerable. Would not recommend it for anybody. Rate was $50us and better hotels are nearby. more

As part of a package tour to Guadalara we overnighted in Zacatecas, staying at La Finca del Minero. Central location in beautiful historic colonial area of city.
