This hotel is half a block from the Zocalo and Cathedral so the location couldn't be more perfect. The dining room "Salon de los Espejos" is beautiful and reminds one of European restaurants. The rooms are romantic and lovely but you must go to the roof terrace to appreciate this property for the view of the zocalo and Cathedral is amazing! Lovely bar area with splendorous view, very romantic and unique.
This property used to be the Italian Consulate and has been restored completely, the elevator is art deco beautiful as are the fountains and courtyard. Great food, impeccable service, warm hospitality too. Fantastic for a couple, honeymoon or anniversary. (pizzeria across the street is great too) more
