The hotel was dirty, the rooms were dark and molded, the beds had bugs, the food was more than disgusting, the service awful and the filthiness was all over the hotel (pool areas, restaurants, gardens). Also, consider that the beach is not within a walking distance, you actually need a car to get there. more

We toured the Cabo Blanco while staying at another hotel. We were considering staying at the Cabo Blanco during our next visit to the area. The room they showed us was small, dark and very musky. The room was filthy, the bottled water was open & used, the rates were high & I received an extra charge on my credit card that we did not authorize. We were given a "deal" by a travel agent. When we arrived we discovered that the "deal" was $30.00 more US per person than the quoted rate. Rooms were filthy, boring and moldy, buffet not in service, pool disgusting and unswimable. We complained, in writing and no one ever got back to us.
