From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure there is nothing but praise for this beautifully presented retreat. We were welcomed with a choice of drink and a chat with advice an anything we needed to know before being given a tour of the perfectly presented accommodation and our immaculate room. We had "Godrevy" with a view of Carbis Bay and the lighthouse. Although a little way out of St Ives it is a very pleasant walk down into the town along the coastal footpath. I admit when returning in the evenings we did get a taxi but it was only a short journey. Our room had Freeview TV and downstairs was another TV with DVD and a library of films to use. A lot of thought has gone into the renovation of these premises before they opened at Easter this year and we could find nothing to fault at all. Breakfasts were perfect in the stylish dining room and nothing was too much trouble. We had a weekend break here but hope to have the opportunity to return in the future. more
