What a lovely place! Felt completely at home the whole time. Lovely breakfast, plenty of tea/coffee etc, and nothing was too much trouble. Really grateful to Mr and Mrs Kelly for a lovely weekend with my 8 year old son. The only critisism, which is a minor one because I am very fussy with my beds, a little uncomfortable/hard. However... booked on line, accomidation to a far higher standard than i anticipated, mrs kelly was a gem and her husband very helpful, the food at the oversized pub ten minutes along the towpath was first class, i came away on cloud nine

As complete newcomers the the narrow boating fraternity we found ourselves starting at the beginning, therefore initially looking for somewhere to stay in or around the Braunston area. We needed to stay near our daughter and son in law so looked on the board in the local shop. Spotted a little advert for the Old Workshop so we knocked and enquired. How very fortunate that we did. I was passing by here while on a walk from london to birmingham, for me the location was very convenient as it is just off from the canal, it is also just of the main road for those in a car, given the proximity to the main road the noise could have been a problem but building is thick walled...
