Playa Bonita was expensive, dirty, and a waste of time. I guess my beef isn't entirely with the hotel itself. It was one of the better hotels in the stink hole of Rocky Point. We went in high season and paid $150 per night. They lost our reservation, so thank God we had the confirmation page becasue they were sold... more

I've grown up going to Rocky Point for a week each and every summer, I'm now 36, so that's 25+ years. I've stayed at the RV Park, beach site, for the past 16 years in a row. Puerto Penasco isn't the nicest resort area to go to, there a very little bit of local color, but otherwise a small desert town on the beach. Not as picturesque as you would hope.
