I visited the Mayan Palace May 28, 11 to June 04, 11. The service was excellent, clean rooms all employees are friendly, always greet with a smile, best of all the entertainers; Jessica, Francisco (Panchito), Sisto and Alex made our stay fun and kept us busy with activities. I enjoyed the stretching in the morening to start the day, directed... More

We drove in from Phoneix on a Sat. afternoon arrive before 5 PM. People are very nice. they have a "mexican Walmart there in town" I suggest you go there. Hotel food and very small gift shop have very limited supplies. Hotel Buffet is around $40 per person. Only a couple of restaurants and a burger with fries will cost... More

A friend and I recently spent a week at the Mayan Palace on a time-share exchange. We loved it! The shuttle bus ride from Phoenix airport was long (4 hours), but comfortable. There are plans to have flights from Las Vegas directly to the resort and I think I'd wait for that before going again. Luckily for us we had... More

The beach is great but too far away from Town. Service is horrible, like if employees are miserable and cant hide it, they will pretend they will helo you but just kill time until you give up. More

My husband and I recently stayed with some friends at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Penasco (aka Rocky Point) and had a wonderful time. At first, I was a bit skeptically about the trip as the resort is very secluded but was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful beauty of this place and how much I enjoyed my time there. The... More

We were told that the resort sits on 50,000 acres. The access road is 10 KM long. If you want to get away and do nothing -- this is the place. We had a beautiful 1 bedroom suite with a kitchen & living room that was immaculate. We don't golf -- which would be one reason to go there. We... More

We stayed at the Mayan Palace from the 31st of December until the 7th of January and really enjoyed the property & peace and quiet. I would recommend doing your research before booking this resort. It is in fact in the middle nowhere - so if you are looking for nightlife, lots of restaurants, tours, shopping - this is not... More

We arrived day after Christmas, during their slow season. Overall very nice experience. The food was excellent, we loved the restaurant (buffet was top notch!) and waiters very friendly. Pool cafe also good. Our suite in Building 2 (newer tower) was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated although furniture was showing some wear. Kitchenette basic but good, had microwave, toaster,... More
