great hotel, nothing was too far away from the pool, great beach, food was good to very good, could have used some bacon more than one morning during the week. The rooms are average, but if your in your room i am guessing your sleeping. more

After entering the room we noticed a musty smell...we went to the front desk immediately and asked to be switched,,,we were told that there were no vacancies...an obvious lie since we realized eventually that the resort was almost empty! The rooms only have one plug in and that is in the bathroom! no where to plug in a cell phone!... more

Traveled the third week of October for a week. The property is badly in need of upgrading. Lots of signs of water damage in the hallways and signs of mould in the bathroom. We traveled during the off season where there are less crowd. However, there are more locals (higher rate of Mexicans from nearby towns like Guadalajara, etc.) than foreigners. Puerto Vallarta has a calmer ambiance and leans toward a more provincial resort setting than Cancun which offer both 'the city " & beach resort." Downtown is about 25 mins by taxi... more

The place was very clean. Staff was very friendly. The only thing we didn't like, they were kind of pushy when they try to sell time shares. more
