Easily found, just 10mins drive from Centre of Banff. Wonderful location. Mountain lodge with large spacious bed/living area with fireplace already set to lite. Good supply of firewood blocks. Stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Canada. Arrived well before noon and had no problem getting into our room. We actually got upgraded. Hotel is not a 'hotel' as such, but more a series of lodges. Very cosy and comfortable. Two restaurants to choose from. A very pleasant stay - would certainly go back. more

we had a great room facing the woods & mountains, and not facing Tunnel Mtn Drive, which is a main road into town. The restaurant food and wine were excellent. My husband & I stayed here for 4 nites in 7/09. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Location was great, restaurant was outstanding for the breakfasts and dinners we enjoyed, and we'd recommend it highly. more

We stayed for 2 nights at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge. The only good thing about the hotel was the Sleeping Buffalo Restaurant. It was excellent. The room however was terrible.
