The Banff International is very convienently located. we were able to walk to shopping, eating, sightseeing. There is a grocery store right around the corner which we used alot. Parking was not a problem, as they have an underground garage. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definetly stay again!!!!!!!. more

Have to echo some of the previous comments. Location is great, you can walk everywhere. No A/C in our room, which with the temperature, was okay at night, but why each and every train has to blow the whistle 5 times is beyond me. At least 3 every night. The Banff International Hotel is, as of this date, got to be one of my favorite of all the hotels I've been in. It is very pretty, roomy and elegant, not to mention that it is located very close to downtown, which is very convinient for me. No complaints about this one at all. more

The location is very convenient and right in the heart of downtown Banff. Very good service and spacious rooms. Smells very clean and nice the moment you enter your bedroom, and everything's clean. Even the shampoo, soap are good quality! I like this hotel! more

It's a bad experience with this hotel, the first one they give to me is full of smoke smell, the second one they exchanged for me has no air condition, hot, a lot of noise, small room! We stayed at the Banff International for three days and loved it. Our family of four had a loft room with three beds. The room was very clean and comfortable for us and the central location of the hotel made visiting downtown Banff very easy. The hotel is very clean, well priced and in an excellent location. The only problem is that there is no air conditioning in room so at night it may get hot. more
