As frequent Banff visitors, my friends and I will NEVER stay at the Voyager Inn again! We were there for a few hours and we stepped onto the balcony for a smoke, we came back into the room and house keeping was in there. They accused us of breaking into the room (over a huge balcony..) after we showed them... More

Yeah this is economy accommodation all the way. The building is old and a bit run down, but my standards are pretty low so the room met my needs. It is hard to see all the pretty buildings and hotels along Banff Ave, meanwhile you’re staying in a cheap motel. But it all depends on what you’re prepared to pay.... More

I stayed at this hotel with friends on 11th and 12th Sept 2010. The rooms were clean but basic although the beds were comfy and when asked they did find a power cable so my friend could plug in a vital piece of medical equipment. Breakfast on the morning of the 12th was interesting to say the least and reminded... More

The greeting was a wait for approx 5 minutes at the desk , after a price way to high for this type of hotel , the internet connection is slow i mean slow, very poor bath , and for the price you pay the " CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST " is a VERY POOR ONE . More

We were expecting to have to pay a fortune to stay in Banff, but there are some reasonable options for accomodation. This one was very pleasant at a reasonable rate and we stayed 3 nights. ($116 a night including tax and a buffet breakfast.) Parking was available below the hotel and was convenient and reasonably secure. The room was spacious... More

And it doesn’t get better. We were just passing through Banff and were looking for a cheap hotel for one evening. This hotel wasn’t worth the few dollars we saved. There were quite a few unpleasant folks loitering around the front entrance of the hotel when we arrived. There is a tacky saloon on the main floor. The patrons of... More

This was the worst hotel we had during our Holidays in Canada and the USA. The hotel is very old fashioned and looks miserable. The rooms were small with a dirty carpet. Breakfast was very minimal and the waitress (very young lady) was vey brutal. The hotel has no elevator (?!) and the beds were not sufficient to be used... More

We arrived at the inn from Banff's main street so we passed lots of nice looking hotels on the way and had a shock when we came to the last one and realized this ugly looking building was ours. Room was only decent for one night with two queen beds, unfortunately this was our last night in Canada and it... More

Banff is an expensive area, so we were happy to find the Voyager Inn. It's located at the north end of town, away from the busy town center, but still within walking distance if you want to stroll the shops. The location does allow for a quick exit to destinations in Banff National Park. The room was fine - two... More
