We enjoyed our stay in the Bachelor Suite which provided a breakfast pack and full cooking facilities. We arrive in Banff last minute and tying to find a hotel, b &b, motel anything that would allow dogs was like pulling teech. The Douglas fur did allow pets which was lovely. Husband and I stayed for a week at the Douglas Fir Resort. Our room had a fabulous view of Tunnel Mountain. Room was spacious & clean, kitchenette was very useful and well stocked with equipment. We got the special that includes groceries and used everything they gave us. Groceries are terribly expensive in Banff so this was a good deal.... more

Had a Studio in Lodge Building. Very clean, rustic, double Bed, comfy Pull out couch, full kitchenette, and a great mountain view from our balcony. Great place for kids, Pool, Waterslides, wilderness hiking paths. Short drive to Banff, Gondola, Hot Springs. Overall great facilities for families. more
