Stayed here for one night. The staff were very helpful and stored our luggage for us when we arrived early. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Good location a short walk to the main part of the town. Parking was onsite with plently of avaliable spaces. Breakfast self services but good. Would stay at this hotel again. more

Buffet breakfast was poor: dirty tables, cutlery sitting in a water filled bowl. No staff on hand. Avoid booking the two bedroom suite: room was extremely dark, due to wall and low lighting. Website photos deceptive. more

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in December. i had room with balcony and it had lovely view. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was great , only 3 mins walk to centre. We really enjoyed our two-nights stay! The room was spacious and cozy, the lighting well spread, the private bathroom clean and provided with many towels. Moreover, indoor parking and buffet breakfast were free (the only hotel with these free facilities in our whole trip through Canada)!! We would definitely recommend to spend a night here if you ever visit Banff. more

We stayed here for 1 night 09.08.07 as part of our Rocky Mountaineer trip. When we got there the hotel looked dirty the carpet in the lift (you need nerves of steel to get in it) was filthy. High Country Inn is in a great location about 2 blocks east of the main strip where the shops, bars and clubs are located. The Inn itself is basic enough but with comfortable, clean rooms and secure underground parking.
