Just returned from 3 nights at Caribou in Banff. The rooms are modestly furnished, but the beds are very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The spa and steam room are wonderful and we found the staff to be friendly and helpful in finding certain attractions in the area. Will absolutely stay here on next visit. Thanks again to... more

Paid about $125, which is low for Banff, but you get a lot of extras---free underground parking, a massage spa on site, a large hot tub for all guests to relax in, a quiet location far enough from the main... more

Banff Caribou is situated at the top of the main high street, so walking distance it's only 5-10 minutes, to the main centre, but outside enough, that it's not noisy. Stayed here for three nights in september 2009, whilst on a tour of western Canada. This hotel was as good as any we stayed at and the breakfast was the best on the trip. I would recomend this hotel to anyone planning staying in Banff. Seventies Dad from Leeds England. more

Though the hotel looks great on the outside and from the website, we were pretty disappointed with our stay. The hallways are dingy; the walls in the rooms are paper thing; the offerings on the tv are from pre-2000. In addition, the online registration system was inaccurate. There are so many choices in Banff -- choose another hotel. more
