We stayed in Banff for 3 nights. Elkhorn lodge is ideally located just over the bridge from the main Banff street. This means a short stroll (10 minutes) in to town and no noise at night. This is a nice little place within walking distance of downtown. The beds are comfortable and the service is friendly. The room was quite resaonably priced and came with coffee, the usual shampoo/conditioner, and cable TV. My only complaint is that the rooms don't have telephones.
