We stayed at this B&B during August and could not fault the warm welcome, cleanliness and good breakfast. It is furnished to a very high standard(like a superior hotel) and there is plenty of space open to the guests - a massive downstairs lounge, dining room and conservatory and on the first floor a tv/tea making/lounge area. This place is not really a B&B. It is owned by the Whyte Museum folks and run as a small ( three room ) Inn. Nobody lives here. The staff leave at 5:00 p.m. and come back in again at 7:00 a.m. to fix breakfasts. As guests the place is yours. And it is a nice old house with some... more
