Save your money and stay somewhere else. My family and I stayed in a one bedroom suite for $250.00 a night and we were very disappointed. The room was old, smelled funny and not clean. There was old coffee in the coffee pot, dirty counter tops, and the dishes in the cupboards were crusted with old food. This inn is... more

We stayed in building 4 for one night. The one room we were given smelled so badly from cigaretts & puke that we left on arrival. The second one we got and kept, cause we had no other alternative was stuffy small but kleen. The night we were there was relatively warm - no ventilation or aircon in this section!!!... more

I spent a restfull and luxurious weekend with my surrogate Alberta family at the newly renovated Lake Louise Inn. This long standing Alberta favourite Lodge located in the townsite of Lake Louise near the Pipestone River and the Banff National Park Visitors centre, and walking distance to the Sansom Indian Band owned Mall. Our newly renovated 2 bedroom,2 lavishly appointed... more

Had a great stay at this property. Four of us had a 2 bedroom suite which was comfortable and very well presented. We had plenty of space. If we had children they could easily have been accommodated here also. We had a very nice meal in the restuarant and then cooked out own breakfeast in our room the next morning.... more

My boyfriend and I read the reviews and were terrified of the infamous building 4! We decided to upgrade and booked a king room in advance for about £80 a night which is quite expensive for off peak season and for what you get. Thankfully the room was in building one! The room was fine - nothing special. Only stay... more

Had a great romantic getaway at Lake Louise Inn. The setting is beautiful with the different buildings - almost like a private compound. The village is a short stroll away and there are always plenty of things to do. Lots of choices for food on site and nearby. Some other people on this site have complained about the service but... more

Stayed at the inn as part of a coach tour programme. The room was warm on arrival (great for a May visit, as it's quite chilly!) and comfortable, with good furnishings. Everywhere was clean and well equipped. There is a good choice of food at 3 locations in the main building. We had a meal in the basement pub, which... more

This hotel was seriously understaffed during our stay. We managed to have our room cleaned for most of the days there because I made direct contact with the cleaning staff. Reception and service staff were however thin on the ground and unable to deal with questions, complaints and quereies. We were located in the block nearest to the hotel entrance,... more

We stayed here for two nights over Easter while we skied Lake Louise. We arrived in the area and went straight to the mountain. After a day of skiing, we arrived at the hotel around 5:30-6PM only to be told our room was not yet cleaned. I was amazed at this, given how late in the day it was. They... more

Overall the experience was okay and as a base to ski from every day I can't really complain. However, they seem to be seriously lacking in staff - both in the bars and for room services. Our room (economy in the Pinery - building 4) was dirty and remained so, particularly the bathroom (I shudder to think of the grime... more
