Arrived late in the afternoon. Check was fast and staff were very polite and friendly (even apologized for not being able to get our group rooms that were closer together....and we hadn't even asked for them to be closer). We booked our 2 night stay through Canadian Affairs, in what was termed an Economy Double. On arriving we were given room 4120 which was in block 4 of the complex. We stayed in an economy double. Had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to the room. Our room was in the older part of the hotel. It was very small and stuffy. Had to keep the door open as the cooling didn't work. Suggest you spend a little more and book one of the newer rooms. Breakfast... more

Initially, our first room was Motel Hell. It was in need of major renovation. Wall paper was falling off the walls and it was cramped. We just got home from a holiday and stayed here on our way home. It was a warm summer day about 27 C. We checked in easily but the bathroom was bigger than the room and hotter then outside. We had a fabulous stay at Lake Louise Inn. Our room was a of a top international standard with a beautiful view of the mountains. It was clean and well-appointed with a very comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Downstairs bar had a great cocktail menu! We went swimming in the pool every day, not sure... more
