I loved this place. Rustic outside, but beautifully updated interiors that still keep the flavor of "rustic". Great furniture; comfortable, cozy bed. My husband and I stayed at Paradise Bungalows on our honeymoon after the Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff lost our reservation. Lovely location, nice views. But after paying $350 for one night why would they think I should pay and additional $5 to use the internet. Super set of cabins nestled in the woods. We stayed in one of the Cooper Cabins, which are among the largest, and which have a deck with a view. Stayed in a 'Saddleback' suite for 3 nights. The interior was really well done and the suite had a beautiful view out into the woods. Free coffee and pastries in the morning was a nice addition. Handy location although NB it's an uphill walk along a main road busy with tourist traffic to Lake Louise. more

We were somewhat nervous about Paradise Bungalows as they were built in the 30's, but it has been upgraded and is extremely well done. Very nice grounds amid pines, cabins are very nice with every convenience. We stayed in the "Wilson" type of cabin. One L-shaped room with queen bed, gas fireplace, sitting area, micro, 'frig, sink, countertop and table.... more
