Our family just spent a week at the Post Hotel, using it as our base to tour the awesome landscape of YoHo and Banff National Parks. The hotel fully deserves a five star rating. Every staff member smiled and were helpful at every turn. The rooms were clean, with high quality appointments. We loved our breakfasts, Dinner was as good... more

I love this hotel. It feels like coming home. There is nothing better than hitting the slopes for the day and then arriving back to luxury, to receive a friendly welcome and tea and cake in the lounge. The rooms are very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. Housekeeping care for your room extremely well. The staff could not do more to... more

Had a most wonderful week skiing at Lake louise, the highlight was the most fantastic Post Hotel and Spa. Wake up and early Swim and hot tub, breakfast then Ski (sometimes with the hotel's ski instructor Yves), back for afternoon tea, Hot tub and steam or a trip to the Spa, early beer in the Outpost pub and dine in... more

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a ski vacation, and the hotel is only a 5 minute bus/car journey to the slopes which was ideal. This was our 4th visit and we generally found the service and food to the high standard we had experienced previously. The rooms are very clean, cozy and well appointed. Our room... more

We have been to this Hotel in the past and liked it so much we returned during March 2OO9. All the staff are most helpful and welcoming and they played a large part in creating the enchanting atmosphere of the Hotel. Our room was warm and cosy and nicely furnished. We had a lovely stone fireplace with a real fire... more

We enjoyed 11 nights with our sons as part of a skiing holiday. What a pleasure it was to return each day to such a relaxing and welcoming hotel. The staff are so polite and helpful. The rooms are really comfortable - we were lucky to have a fireplace with a couple of sofas. There is a spa/pool with steam... more

We booked a room with a king size bed so you can imagine our surprise when we were given a smallish room with two double beds. We queried this with the porter and he said he would go and find out what happened. So rather than unpack our bags we sat and waited and waited and waited... after 30 minutes... more

Before you reserve here, make sure your plans are definite. If your plans change and you need to cancel your reservations, the hotel will keep $15 which they will call a credit card processing fee. If you call to question this, the impolite reservations manager, Carter, will tell you that it is clearly stated on the hotel's reservations page. Well,... more

our family initially felt excited to learn that a room was available for the family day long weekend. it was very expensive but we were told that the room was much like a "presidential suite" with a "preferred" view and that we would not be disappointed. needless to say, we had high expectations for the service and the room. upon... more

We had heard good things about the hotel from friends but were very disappointed. Our room was one of the smallest I have stayed in, the bathroom smaller (two of you could not be in it at the same time). The décor is very dated (flowery chitz), the staff are mainly Swiss and lack the charm and friendliness of the... more
