This is good example of how a hotel should be run. Front desk staff are courteous, helpful and professional. Rooms clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. Usually I avoid Holiday Inn's because they always feel cheap but we got a really great rate at this one so we decided to try it. We stayed here after arriving to Calgary in the late evening. Very close to the airport (maximum 15 minutes). We needed a place to stay overnight in Calgary after arriving from a late flight. This hotel provided a free shuttle from the airport, was clean and perfect for a one night stop over before leaving for our final destination. more

It seems this hotel is either recently built or has undergone a recent renovation. The room with two queen beds was among the most spacious rooms I've ever had in a hotel. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The front desk staff was nice, but I had an issue with my hotel room and no manager was on duty as I came in late and left early. I left 3 messages about my experience and not one phone call was returned. I find that this is a disgrace... more
I myself had to stay over her as Air Canada put me off because of a missed connection. Shuttle bus picked us up and delivered us back to the airport. The gentleman was friendly and efficient. Lobby itself looked a little aged - definately could use some upgrading. I did not pay for this room - but anyway the room... more
