Execsuite maintains several properties in Calgary. My stay was at the Tower, a 14 story building with eight rooms per floor, 702-3rd Ave SW. While you can rent short-term, just like a regular hotel, this complex caters to the longer-term client. I rented an apartment for about two months through the Calgary summer.

Pro's: a non-smoking building, clean, secure, and well kept. Decent flat screen tv's, usually two per room, with cable, wireless internet, wide variety of room configurations, newly remodelled rooms (work in progress).

Con's: slippery modern leather or leather like chair and couch. Couch is not comfortable for laying down and watching tv. Complex allows smoking on the balconies. Unfortunately people's smoke from neighbouring balconies gets sucked into your room if you have the window open, which in the Calgary summer you almost always do.
