I agree with Darcitalk 100%. The food and service used to be good at Westin. I don't know what happen perhaps there is a different chef now? Hotel was awesome and the best part that it's pet friendly. We were here for just a tournament and just excellent service, right downtown walking distance to everything. Our concern was trying to find a place that will allow dogs and they had a place for you to walk your pets.

I love the Westin. There is nothing like a Westin Bed and you can't beat the location if you like downtown Edmonton. I always have great service and feel welcome! They have a salon, you can walk the pedway to the mall, library etc. or walk outside to a number of restaurants, pubs etc.
