I read the reviews, and thought that I was in for a sh-thole, but to my surprise it wasn't that bad. The room was clean, the bathroom looked to be newly renovated (within a few years), and the people were nice. The woman in the hotel's cafe (Debbie) was nice, and the bar even played live music. Considering that the... more

This is a very nice little hotel, groovily decorated and well situated. It was practically empty when I was there, probably because of all these nasty reviews. Great service, organic(!) toiletries, wireless internet, good price, nice people... I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. more

We book online from their website 20 days before we stayed. Before leaving the morning of our stay we phoned to let them know wed be arriving late in the night and 12 30 1 ish. they said that was fine, I wrote down the confirmation number and everything, and we left. When we got there there was no parking... more

Well I must say I was scared to death after I read these reviews but had already booked the hotel...and seeing how some of them were pretty old I thought I might as well just stick with it. I am happy to say I found no syringe's in the parkade...nor was there anything wrong with my room. The hotel is... more

I stayed here three years ago not only did I get terrible service, but my bed was warped and the place was just dirty. This hotel was by far the worst I had ever stayed in. more

What a place to stay. If you have read the other reviews they are right on the money. I have stayed at many hotels and this was clearly the worst one I have ever stayed at. Not only was there drunks hanging around outside at night, but we saw a sryinge on the ground in the parkade. It was dirty... more

This has to be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. I can't believe that Choice Hotels keeps this crappy hotel (and I'm being polite) in their chain...or just about any Econo Lodge, actually. But this one's even worse... The employee "welcoming" us was not "welcoming" at all...probably not even suiting the standards of a $30 motel. We... more

Being an Airline employee, I've stayed at many many hotels. This is the worst one I have ever stayed in. I stayed one night and left the next morning. I was kept awake by the sound of the plumbing until about 3am. I had to keep turning on the faucet to stop the noise. I went downstairs to complain and... more

Be afraid... be very afraid. Make sure you are carying some sort of weapon if you're hanging outside the hotel at night. Stay away from the underground parking. The underground parking is a death trap and perfect place for vandals. Our car was damaged leaving it there during the night.lThe room was spacous enough but was never cleaned well. The... more
