It was a year since my last stay and this hotel managed to disappoint me even further. Management has contibuted lip service in this forum but the quality of this Sandman has deteriorated instead of improved. The rooms are poorly lit and downright filthy. The TV's are archaic. As per last reviewer, the free secured wireless Internet connection was piped to the customers at a much lower bandwidth (I think it was only a weird 61 mbps shared) and would drop constantly than an open unsecured connection (100mpbs). I took risks on the unsecured simply for the speed and convenience of looking up local deals and updating sites... more

The hotel entrance is nice and the attached restaurant, Chop is excellent. That is where this ends. The rooms are filthy, stuffy and unkept. The internet doesn't work and the staff are uninterested in guests complaints as I'm sure they receive so many. We stayed there while on a medical trip for my daughter. The rooms were dirty, old and were in some need of some updates and TLC! The staff were not helpful. We had asked for some more towels because of a 4 month old and never did get them. However, the Denny's next door was AMAZING! Our waitress was awesome.... more
