The room was spacious and clean, very nice bathroom, comfortable beds, fabulous river valley view. The staff were avoidant at best, and our server in the restaurant (when he appeared) smelled of body odor. Interestingly, we had the same server at breakfast...bodor odor still present. We were unable to pay our bar bill due to lack of staff presence..in fact,... More

This Courtyard Inn is right beside the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, the iconic CP Hotel and overlooks the North Saskatchewan River and entire river valley. If you want to be downtown Edmonton this is an excellent choice. The room we had was spacious and the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The one drawback, as with many city centre... More

Traveling from Alaska to the lower 48, we used hotel points we had to get a room for a night - when we got there, there was no parking for anyone pulling a trailer so we had to park by the service entrance an STILL had to pay $22 CA to park! Outrageous! Then $35 CA for my 10 lb... More

My family make about 6-7 trips a year to Edmonton to visit family and always stay downtown for the sake of convenience as my family is scattered around the city. This time, I thought I would try the "name your own price" on Priceline and got this hotel for a rate of $80/night - CHEAP for downtown Edmonton. For the... More

A well located hotel in Edmonton. A few issues, avoid room 714 unless you enjoy the use of gym machines over your head starting early in the morning (gym is on floor 8). The rooms are great and excellent free internet. Front desk staff polite and helpful. Our major issue is that despite lovely clear sunny warm (23c) days it... More

I spent a weekend at the Courtyard Edmonton Downtown, and I was very impressed by what this hotel has to offer. I had a room with a king bed overlooking the river valley, and the view was very impressive. Even the bathroom had a window with the same soaring view. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. It had... More

Finding the hotel is interesting. Once there, valet parking only ($22) and competent front desk staff check you in and up you go to your comfortable clean room. Location of the hotel is central CBD Edmonton, with easy access in all directions. With a well decorated river view room, it is quiet and scenic. Amenities included fridge, free internet, good... While check-in personnel were a little stiff - or was it me after 3 hours on the road? (Most of) the rest of my experience was quite good. Well located in the centre of downtown overlooking the river valley, the Courtyard offers pleasant accommodation at reasonable cost. Comfortable rooms, king-size bed and great pillows - a real bonus. But what... More

Upon entering the hotel it is evident you are in "downtown" Edmonton, as we learned several gang signs in the lobby. I would definetley did not feel comfortable checking in after dark. The rooms are HUGE and bedding very comfortable. Beautiful view of the river valley. The staff are typical of Alberta in that average service is given at best.... More

Stayed here for two nights while attending an event and the Shaw Conference Centre. Rooms are spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. Free wifi, comfortable beds, excellent customer service. My room looked out onto Jasper Avenue, but my colleagues has an amazing room that faced east and looked out over the river valley and conference centre. The rate was reasonable, reservations were...
