I have stayed at the alpine village twice now - once in 1999 and then 10 years later, in 2009 - and loved it! The cute bungalows are located close to the highway (easy access) but you don't hear anything but birds and the river. Stayed 3 nights in deluxe duplex, great location away from Jasper town.Log cabins are clean and bathrooms put many a 5 star hotel to shame. Very relaxing location by river, with great views of Rockys. Wood burning fire place excellent to go to bed by. Will be staying again if in Jasper. more

A great little place. Cabins were very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had cold weather while we were there, and the cabin stayed very warm (thanks to the space heaters and fireplace). A great place to stay if you are looking for a restful getaway. more

In a land full of terrible, plastic, fake chalet, the alpine village is a remarkable exception. The cottages are really nice, full of equipment and cosy, distributed in a nice garden. The position is also beautiful; it is a close ride to the town, but in a quiet and peaceful position, just on the Athabasca River. We enjoyed so much... more

Alpine Village is a group of varying size cabins just outside of Jasper. Cabins are homey with real wood fireplaces (you split your own wood from the community pile out back - easy to do).
