We spent four nites there in August which is the high season for the lodge. Here is the summary: Main Lodge .. very warm and comfortable. Overlooks a beautiful private lake. The location (a pretty lake) was the only plus side to this awful hotel. The atmosphere was a bit like that holiday camp in Dirty Dancing - enforced merriment for an age before the concept of service existed. Wonderful setting, awful, expensive accommodation. Tired rooms with no air conditioning. Service very spotty. The bar staff appear to be college students who are poorly trained and surly.
