We stayed here for 2 nights on a tour of the Rockies. The hotel is actually a series of lodges. The room we were assigned was quite a way from the main hotel but we could see the lake which was stunning. I had the opportunity to stay at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for two nights. It was a great experience. Having visited a number of the Fairmonts in western Canada this truly is a gem. Every restaurant had the best food and the best servers etc....but the accomodations may not be what you are expecting. We stayed in a very small king room with no fireplace even though they advertised there are fireplaces. We were assigned a room in the oldest cabin and farthest from the lodge. The location and hotel could not have been better. This is really the only place to stay in Jasper that is unique. It is charming and perfectly fits the idea of "luxury in the outdoors"!
