Its is a great place if you are attending Cletus and Jolene's wedding reception. But think twice if you are coming with family for leisure. Staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. Room was newly renovated and was quiet, clean and comfortable. I have stayed at many hotels in Red Deer for business and this one has become my hotel of choice from now on! more

My wife and I stayed at the Red Deer lodge on December 13 , The food was Ok but then we got to our room. Odd layout to say the least, no light switch when you enter Rm328 light switch in Bedroom did not work , no garbage can in bathroom,brown stains on towels(yes I believe it was skidmarks) .... more

I arrived early and tried for an early check in, the first front desk clerk said there was nothing available so I went to the lounge for a couple of drinks. So after that I talked to a different front desk clerk and she put me into a King Suite which was quite nice and big with two TV's. more

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Lodge. For me the staff put them over the top. Their friendly helpful attitude make you want to go back time after time. What a great hotel, and the staff were simply over the top. They have a Guest Experince leader who greated me in the lobby of very cold -35 degree day with a smile that made me feel warm all over. the hotel is not brand new,, and needs some reno's but they make up for it with their service. it... more

Rooms are adequate. They call themselves a business hotel and only have dial up in the rooms which is disappointing. Food is horrible, make sure you don't eat the breakfast buffet. more
