Visitors Beware. We found a MOUSE in our room. Rooms are DIRTY and SMELL funny. There are mice droppings on the sheets. Drinking glasses have finger prints all over. The fridge STINKS. They DO NOT DO housekeeping. Our bed was NEVER MADE. SERVICE is HORRIBLE. They are RUDE and only care to make the extra buck or two. We LOST... more
We spent 3 nights in the Manning Park Resort Lodge during the spring break (Mar 17-19/08). The lodge was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. After a few hours of cross-country skiing on very well groomed trails we found the indoor pool and hot tub/sauna a perfect way to relax. We would definitely stay there again. more
Ever since 2001, we have had family reunions during spring break at Manning Park. All our families enjoy individual cabins with their well-equipped kitchen facilities and cable TV's. Even though we have sometimes arrived well before official check-in time, the cabins were usually ready for occupancy. The grandchildren just love snow-boarding and skiing on the steep runs while the little... more
Wow what can I say, it is truley a beauty this place Manning Park. We went on the 1st of March and the drive from Whiterock was about 2 hours and 20 minutes on a wonderful sunny day, with barely much traffic. The place is truly a paradise, settled in the the high rise mountains that connect to the kootneys.... more
My son and I were driving home from a holiday in the BC interior and he had been carsick. While we could have stopped in Princeton for the night, I decided to press on to Manning Park so that he could have a swim and a proper meal. Upon arrival at 8:40pm, there were off duty employees talking in the... more
We booked a junior suite in the main lodge a week before Christmas in 2006, for a three-night stay. We arrived during a snow storm - the trip from Vancouver which usually takes three hours took us more than seven. When we arrived, we were exhausted. The hotel was nearly empty. We arrived an hour before checkin time, yet we... more
Check in time for our tri-plex was suppoosed to be 4:00, so we arrived at 3:45 to find out that our suite wouldn't be ready for another 30 minutes... so we waited in the lobby (12 adults and a 3 month old). We checked at 30 minutes and they said it would still be a while so they sent us... more
The hotel is very well located, but when entering it, specially the rooms, you can see that, apart from having a very dated decor they are not properly cleaned. The carpet in the rooms and the basement where you play table tennis and pool is completely filthy. I am a bit asthmatic and this is not a place for people... more
We had a typical motel-style room with one small window and a nice bathroom. The room was in need of redecoration--the carpet was worn and the bedspread was faded. However, the furniture was otherwise in good shape, and the beds were comfortable. We were there on a very hot day--about 95 degrees. Our room had no A/C and no fan... more
