We booked a few days at the Graham Dunden Ranch for a winter horse riding vacation. We arrived and were immediately greeted at the gates by Wolfgang and "Puffy" the cat. Soon after, the 10 horses all came around to say hello. We had room #1 which had two double beds and a private bathroom with shower. You might want to bring a comforter as the one on the bed is small, but considering how warm the room was you may not need it. At -25 celcius outside we were toasty warm in the room. The rooms are in the old ranch house but are very nicely updated in pine with log sidetables. Breakfasts were served with both Wolfgang and Barbara, conveniently timed for vacationers. The ranch is large, with moose (raiding the hay barn), bears, and coyotes all in evidence in the area. We rode two days and were very happy with the guided trails, which were through the bush and meadows, and with the horses supplied.
