Spent two night in non-smoking Jr Suite. Quiet & Comfy, plenty of room, good amenities, great bath towels! Ate dinner and breakfast in resturant, dinner was tasty, breakfast was average. Good value for Dawson.

We were up for a hockey tournament and i think the hotel 'adjusted' their rates to peak season in the dead of winter which didn't sit well with us considering all the hockey families were occupying 75-100 hotel rooms across the city. Friends stayed at the Downtown (a comparable hotel) for almost $40 cheaper per night.
We were in the...

Stayed in the renovated wing and was duly impressed. I expected old carpets and tired furniture... but no, to my surprise the Eldorado has been given a fresh new facelift. Nice clean rooms, comfortable if a little on the hot-side temperature wise.
I thought it was affordable and is certainly centrally located.
Restaurant in the hotel was nice - the...

Dawson City has been on my wish list for travel for a long time. I would have preferred a summer visit, but November was when I arrived. It was minus 42 when we landed, but the Eldorado shuttle bus was warm and waiting for us. Rather than a quick drop off at the hotel, I had a tour of Dawson...

We were up in Dawson this summer and stayed at the Eldorado for 4 nights. We went up to have a good time and being across from "The Pitt" was a blessing and a curse.
My main issue was there was a giant urine/vomit stain on the undersheet of the bed. I didnt notice it until the Second night. It...

I did not stay at the hotel, and only had breakfast here twice. The food was superior with eggs, pancakes, french toast all made fresh and hot. Pure maple syrup for the hot cakes and this is a must. Brewed coffee was tasty and satisfying. Staff and service was perfect.
Free low speed WiFi. Fridge, but no microwave. No A/C, but this is true of everyplace. (There is a fan). No free breakfast, but again this is par for the course. We would go back to the Eldorado. Medium sized bathroom and room. You can walk to Gertie's and everywhere else for that matter. TV.
After renovation, our room was very clean, had a large refrigerator, coffee maker, flat screen tv, large bathroom, comfortable bed, 2 phones, A/C. Hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. Price was good.
Other than the dining area, this is not a fancy place, but the hospitality was great. The room was small, basic, with plenty of hot water. The staff was very helpful in meeting our group's unexpected needs. The lights in the dining room were worth the experience, and the food was wonderful! The hotel is located in Downtown Dawson which...

Excellent location, spacious comfortable rooms. We’ve got excellent service from the front desk both when we came late night (by Dan) and in the morning (by Stina). WiFi in Dawson belongs to the previous millennium and many/all hotels allow you a Quata of 20-80 MB – Eldorado allows you 250MB and will add with no extra charge – WiFi was...
