Here are a few advices. The rooms alone do not deserve $169/day when they do not have airconditioning. It is $40 upgrade if you want a airconditioned room. It is a simply horrible business/marketing stratetegy they employ. So, if you are staying there in late May/June/July/August/Early Sept, DO NOT stay in the main building or the most basic room. It... more
Booked a one night stay at the end of Rockies round trip. Checked-in and given a room in main hotel (old part). Evening came, and the room was a sauna. Day temp was mid twenties only. Only way to cool was a ceiling fan that hardly spun. Call to front desk and complained - offered a standing fan, and advised... more
This is a nice hotel. Yes, it's quite old but the rooms were always kept exceptionally clean and were a good size. The pools were lovely and immaculate. The staff was extremely polite and accomodating, any time that we requested something to be brought to the room they went out of their way to bring it. My only complaint is... more
My husband and I stayed at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort May long weekend. Our room was a Village/Lake View in the East Tower. The room was nice. The decor was pretty standard. The balcony was a nice size, with two chairs and a small table, and the view was great. The hotel service was very good. Every time I... more
My husband and I spent 4 days here in April and had a great experience. The hotel is unpretentious and yet full service - ideal for us. We stayed in the East Tower - newer rooms. We had a king room which overlooked the Lake. perfect. There is not much to do in town however we never felt bored and... more
We always check tripadvisor before we book and this hotel was getting panned in recent reviews, so we were a little wary. Our room was a East Tower King with beautiful views of Harrison Lake. Check-in was smooth - the desk clerk was polite as were all the staff we met. The breakfast buffet was good with a large selection... more
We took advantage of a mid-week, off-season, 'getaway' package, so when you added up the two mornings of excellent breakfast buffet spread, credit in the Copper Room, and the soaks in the hot pools, it was quite reasonable for what we got! The setting is spectacular! The view across the road from the hotel is of lovely lake, island and... more
I write this post to inform you of an experience I had at this hotel. To say that it was lack-luster would not go far enough to expressing my disappointment. Our arrival and check-in happened without incident and we enjoyed our first night at the hotel. On the second day a number of things happened. Firstly, we were forced to... more
My in-laws gave my husband and I a gift certificate for Christmas so we had to use it. At first they seemed very accommodating, and even extended our expiration date of the certificate by 3 months. So we finally decide to go- make the reservations $179.00 a nite (a little steep if you ask me) in the main hotel. Made... more
