Me my wife and 2 young children flew over from London to travel from Vancouver to Calgary. We stopped off at many cheap motels and hotels on the way ALL of which I have written rave reviews. We pre booked this hotel in England 3 months before we came out. The hotel was being fefurbished so there was no changing... more

We were renovating the bathroom and shower area when they visited. In regards to breakfast, this is a full service hotel and no mention of breakfast is mentioned when booking or on our website. The guest should have checked prior to booking for this detail. They were put in a two bedroom suite due to size of family and provided...

I stayed at this hotel not as part of my own chosing, but through the rocky mountaineer tour. The hotel I found o be quite nice, and exceeded my expectations for the small town. It had spacious rooms, but the beds werent the best, and coupled with a plastic bathroom it was your typical small town hotel. It was a... more

stayed one night, on the third floor. Good-sized room with mini-fridge (no microwave or iron), and balcony. Queen bed was comfortable. Did not hear any neighbours (may not have had any) and so had a peaceful night. Not aware if a free breakfast was offered, but there is a good restaurant on-site. Would stay there again. more

My room was given away when I got there, but they upgraded me to a suite, which was a very nice room. Front desk staff were very pleasant. The room was clean. It had the usual suite amenities, ie refrigerator, etc. There are a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet. No free breakfast. more

We stayed at this hotel on the weekend of June 28-30 2008. We had 2 rooms as the inlaws were with us. The hotel itself is very dated and is screaming for an update. The staff was great and accomodating. The room was tired looking but large for the 4 of us and the beds, although old and very low... more

We are presently going through a renovation of new beds and bedding in our standard rooms, painting of our courtyard and new hallway carpet. The dispenser program has been part of our "green hotel" program where we have eliminated over 140,000 plastic bottles into the garbage every year. The dispensers are checked after every check out and cleaned as part...

We stayed here for 2 nights in May. This big Pink building saw its best day’s years ago. It is kind of ratty on the outside and the dead foliage doesn’t help. The lobby hasn’t been updated for a while either and as you enter there is an unpleasant waft of chlorine from the courtyard pool. Speaking of the pool,... more

While we haven't painted the outside since the property was built, we have done extensive renovations on the facilities, including a 80 room expansion. The lobby was redone in 2006. We open our pool at 9 am due to the 60 rooms that face into the courtyard (the Gym is open at 6 am). We changed our pool to a...

We stayed for two nights on a family trip this past spring break and we have to say that this was the best hotel we stayed at. Not your typical Best Western, this hotel is full service. A huge pool area that is very kid friendly. Great big rooms, free high speed internet and everything easy to get to. The... more

The service clerks were very nice and helpful. The rooms were ridiculously large (no question, this was it's best feature). Free wired internet was great to have. The beds however were way too cheap and soft. The TV was too dark and hard to see. Nice big pool area. more

We stayed at this hotel as a stop over on the Rocky Mountaineer. The hotel itself is probably one of the best but typical of the Best Western Chain. It has a great pool area, with the usual spa tub etc, with rooms situated around it, and the restaurant/bar at one end. It's a value hotel and it delivers. The... more

We loved our stay at Kamloops BW! The room was veeery spacious, clean, elegant and quiet. None of the room pictures that you can see in the official hotel's internet site does justice to it! In addition to the bathroom, at the entrance of the room you will find a separate corner with another washbasin, a fridge, a coffe machine... more
