Actually very good. The staff were great, rooms comfortable, price good. The Noble Pig (pub 40 meters from the lobby) was very good. I would come back here, Many beers at te Pig, and every diner item is made from scratch. Try the "Growler" mmmmm

“A very pleasant surprise”

As this was an overnight stop on our train journey our expectation was not high. However a very comfortable room with a spotless bathroom and very friendly staff made it a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Allocated room334. Large room with two queen beds, everything clean neat and tidy. Bathroom a bit small and bath does not keep the water in so you need to keep topping it up. Cannot fault anything really. Hotel is very central to all restaurants. Most impressed with the standards.

Unbelievably, friendly staff. Really felt like they cared, much more so than a 4 or 5 star hotel where they have plastic smiles and you know they don't care. “Paper plates and plastic cutlery”

Great check in and lovely room but insulted by the paper plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast. In fact the whole of " continental" breakfast was a joke. You would have been better off making it room only and not insulting me. No milk served with tea or coffee. We would have cried if we didn't laugh!
