No offense, but Kamloops is quite baron and void of character, even in the town center. The temperature in this small town is much higher due to Gulf streams, hence the surrounding mountains being void of greenery. However, this was always a stopover for us and this hotel was pleasant with a nice pool. more

I stayed with my 6 and 8 year old. Property looked very new and clean. comfortable rooms with free internet, good beds and bedding, nice bathrooms. Hotel had a decent pool with a smaler waterslide that my 8 year old really enjoyed. Decent breakfast in a large dining room inlcuded. We stayed at the Hampton Inn kamloops as a mid stop between Vancouver and Calgary. We were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of cleanliness and overall comfort we had staying there. This hotel is definitely worth a stop over; very friendly, updated rooms and the waterslide was cleaner than most we've seen. Will definitely return in future. more
