From the second we walked throught the door we felt like royalty. The service is one of a Five Star Hotel! We came for a Romantic get away from Calgary, and that it was. We had Room Service in our Suite while we curled up by the fire place over looking the lake. The food was amazing!!! more

When sitting in the living room of your suite in this beach side resort, open the amazing floor to ceiling sliding windows and almost touch the water - it is so relaxing, what a view!!! This hotel is beautifully situated on Okanagan Lake with everything at your fingertips. The only problem is that unless you're prepared to party every night until 1:30 am, I suggest you avoid this hotel. It is absolutely the noisiest hotel I have ever experienced! The rooms in the Eldorado's new wing are simply magnificent. Plenty of space (contemporary but comfortable), a fantastic shower with eight, count them eight, showerheads - one of which is a rainfall overhead, deep jacuzzi tub on an elevated level surrounded by windows overlooking the lake and a huge 42-inch Sony LCD TV over a cozy electric fireplace.
