I had a reservation for a soccer tournament on the Long Weekend. I injured my back on Wednesday and as a result could not even sit in a vehicle never mind participate in a soccer tourney. I phoned to cancel the reservation on Thursday (when I found out where the team had made the reservation). They told me company policy... more

So me & some friends decided to goto Penticton for the July long weekend, and weren't really prepared as far as directions go, I believe we took the Kokihalla Highway and were pretty much lost half the way, we called up the motel about 10 times too many and they were glad to help us with directions and such. My... more

We Stayed at the Flamingo August 5th and 6th. The service was not incredible, nor was it horrendous. Our room was clean enough, we didn't love that the air conditioner was directly besdie the bed, blowing cold air in our faces. We wouldn't stay here again, but next time we will be smart enough to book 1 or 2 months... more

we called in asking about rooms, and were 1) told that we could book and pay for one night, and go from there and 2) that if we did not make a decision in the next 10 minutes there would be no more rooms. needless to say we took the one night, stating that if we were to stay longer... more

During reserving they were made aware that this was an extremely busy time and rooms are likely to fill up fast (not within 10mins). So if they wait a few days can not gaurantee whats available. These customers made a reservation for 5 nights. On the day they come in the want to change it knowing there is a 7...

Do not book here!!! I booked 3 rooms for a tournament......and then cancelled 2 rooms 9 days before showing up. Their policy is 7 day cancellation notice. When I got the bill I was charged for 3 rooms. Tried to explain the situation and they were very rude. I only signed for $313 on my visa...yet $500 was charged!!!! When... more

He booked 6 rooms for his team. Teammates for 3 rooms showed up and 1 room was for this customer. Teammates for 2 rooms never showed up. During this May long weekend we were fully booked and held rooms for this customer who never called in to cancel any rooms. They arrived late at night so we did not even...

I stayed at the Flamingo motel and I was very pleased. The rooms were spotless and the staff went out of their way to help me! I am so happy I chose to stay at a family run business such as this one. You can really tell the difference in the service! Thanks Flamingo for making my trip to Penticton... more

Stayed during Ironman Week. Never Again. I will drive from out of town than stay with untrained motel owners. The cost was inflated for the room. ($125 plus tax) No plug in bathroom, chesterfield only comfortable place to sit. Mattress old and uncomfortable. Questionable about the pool care. Complained about the toilet and no reponse. Maid service questionable and only... more

This couple stayed during ironman week. $125/night in 2006 very reasonable compared to other hotels during ironman week. There was a problem with the toilet. Fixed problem and that was the end of that. This is the 1st time I've heard of the beds being uncomfortable. Yes there is a sign to hang in the room for maid service. Purpose...
