after reading those horrible reviews i have to say what is wrong with people! i had had the most amazing trip to the lost moose great food amazing view and fantastic new management i highly recommend it

We actually packed up and lef this place because the woman running it was so rude. Also the outhouses were of a 3rd world variety. The campsites were filthy and swarming with flies. Never ever EVER go to this place.

After checking in and setting up our tents the female owner of the resort drove into our site and proceeded to chastise us with finger waving and ranting...that we were out of our site" boundaries"...there were no other campers in our area and no defined areas for the sites. Had booked into the campground, bathrooms were absolutely disgraceful, owner was rude and obnoxious, we ended up getting our money back and left!

I don't know where to start. The view is absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a wedding venue pick this! The rooms are wonderful. Very country feeling. We attended a function at the lost moose lodge in June 2007 which included dinner inside the lodge. Their website does an excellent job of hiding its dirty floorboards, dated decor, rickety, plastic covered chairs and tables that look like they were purchased from fire sale.
