I have never stayed at a worse place. The windows have no locks - just broomsticks in the window tracks, and those are too short (I could have crawled in and out the window from the outside). The bathroom windows don't lock either, and we're talking first floor rooms in a part of town where businesses have bars over the windows. The door handle to the room was loose and jiggled. (I piled heavy luggage in front of the door, just in case).

The sheets were old, thin, and had remnants of stains. The blankets weren't much better, and the pillows were lumpy. One chair in the room actually had no slats on the bottom - had I sat on it, I'd have fallen through the vinyl bottom.

The carpet was none to clean, either. I surely didn't walk about barefoot here.

I felt completely unsafe in this room and I've stayed at some sketchy places elsewhere!
