You can pay the extra cost to staying at the casino, but considering how close everything is in this city, this place was a nice middle ground. The Moby Dick Inn is a very average hotel. The front entrance has a lot of steps which isn’t great for a hotel as most people will be arriving with a suitcase. The room itself was dated. I travel to Prince Rupert often and have found that the Moby Dick Inn is a great place to stay. It's close to downtown and the restaurant is good. The staff and front desk lady were extremely helpful, full of local information ensuring that our stay was pleasant.

The staff made my stay enjoyable as they are locals who have a good idea of the area.
