This is a very nice B&B owned by warm, experienced professionals. The B&B on the outside did not initially look like it was going to live up to the pictures but it certainly does. The very nice room and huge bath was extravagantly large. Our hosts served generous, caring breakfasts, nice conversations, helpful restaurant directions and even phoned several mechanics... more

I was looking for a place to stay for one night on a business trip. At the last minute, my wife and daughter decided to come along and we were all very happy. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, good food - everything one could look for. Reasonable price too! The home is designated as a heritage site and it's really something. more

We stayed at the Black Bear for a couple nights while on our summer holiday. Greg and Tauna were very knowledgable about the area and definitely helped us plan our stay in the Rossland area. The accomodations were great and breakfast was fantastic. We would reccommend the Black Bear to anyone passing through. more

We came to ski Red and ski Red we did. Fresh coffee a hearty breakfast talk skiing go skiing come "HOME" revisit skiing and boom asleep in a big comfy bed. If you want to truly enjoy what Rossland is, and about stay with Greg and Tauna Butler. My 8 year old daughter is wondering when are we going back?... more
