Spent 2 nights here for stormwatching. Location is excellent, walking distance to town, breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the loon room and it was very nice, deep jetted tub with standup shower also. Jacuzzi outside also to enjoy and stairs down to the cove. We have never stayed in b&b's until this year and were impressed with them all but Tide's Inn was the best by far. The rooms were unbelieveably large and beautifully furnished; the attention to detail was suberb (there were even books and videos for our). What a view! Lovely older home with that "live-in" feeling that makes it so relaxing. Fine food and very friendly Innkeeper. Great location that is close to restaurants, beaches, parks, and all sorts of activities. Great little beach at the bottom of the stairs. Watch bald eagles from the wonderful hot tub. We had a very warm welcome at Val's beautiful home. The view from our room was great and Val gave us good information about Tofino and surroundings. And.......the breakfast deserves an excellent marking. We stayed only two nights and it spoiled us for the rest of our journey. It is absolutely worth a visit. more
