We have stayed in hostels before and weren't worried about choosing a hostel for our Tofino stay. The location is quite good, just off the small downtown - everything is in walking distance. Note: I stayed here in June 2003, not 04. Unlike the C&N branches in Vancouver, this hostel - more of a house really - is pleasant, clean and friendly. We actually enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious and comprised of a double bed. Only down side was the lumpy, springy bed. In June we stayed at the C&N BACKPACKERS - Tofino 241 Campbell Street, Tofino, BC Canada (on Vancouver Island) - the welcome was ok, but chaotic and the bathroom was dirty so we left the next morning without a shower, so we would advice to look for a nicer accomadation. more
