Don't stay here! Pender Lodge was dirty and TERRIBLE! I stayed here after backpacking through Europe, so I was used to some pretty bad accommodations, but Pender tops the lot. Pender Lodge is one of the cheapest in Vancouver but be aware that you get what you pay for. The hostel itself is not that bad the bedroom was clean with a tv and fridge. The bathrooms left a lot to be desired; covered in flies and a request to put used toilet paper in a bucket next to the... more
Pender Lodge smells bad and is in a bad location (near Chinatown). The "computer room" is actually a storage room with a computer inside it (you have to sit outside of the place).
