We enjoyed the stay but were a bit disappointed. The rooms were becoming worn and dated. The lobby area was beautiful and staff extremely helpful. The hotel appeared to cater to the incoming cruise ship customers. The location, however, makes up for any shortcomings. more

Great location one block from most downtown dining and shopping. Lovely common areas and rooms. Very nice restaraunt and health club. Modern French style decor. Great service and well staffed. Seems very popular with high end business travelers. The package including breakfast and parking is a good value, as breakfast runs $10-25/person and parking is $36/day valet. more

The hotel lobby is very elegant, but the rooms are about as fancy as a Best Western. I am perplexed that this place manages to score a five star rating. We stayed in the Grande Residences which are like small apartments. They were fine. The furniture was a bit worn, the decorating was extremely plain. Nothing was terrible but it certainly wasn't luxurious. I would rate this on par with an older Residence Inn or Homewood Suites.... more
