We came back from a 4 night stay at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised. We had a two room suite (11th floor) with a pull out bed in one room and two twin beds in the other, the bathroom was between the two rooms which worked out well. The room was clean and adequate for the 3 of us... more

Considering this hotel charges at it's high season a minimum of $300 per night it's rather amusing how people seem to rank this hotel up there with the likes of some of Vancouver's best places to stay. First of all, Le Soleil has practically nothing in the way of amenities beyond the standard concierge service, wireless internet access and a... more

I stayed at this hotel for a Friday & Saturday night for a special occasion with my wife. We had a regular room (not a jr. suite or suite) and the room was a nice size and clean. The view wasn't great, looking out from the back of the building and over the back of a bistro behind the building,... more

We had just finished a 14 day cruise to Alaska, pampered all 14 days and wanted a great finishing touch to our trip. Le Soleil did just that. The staff was professional and pleasant and went out of their way to answer any questions and point us in the right directions. The one-bedroom suite was enormous following a stay in... more

We stayed at the Hotel Le Soleil for a Vancouver wedding and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a good size and elevators are very speedy (and almost always open on to the lobby when you come into the hotel). Good amenities, but the comforter of the bed is a bit outdated for our taste. A pretty good location -... more

convenient location - walking distance to the train station, shopping, great restaurants. Nice large walk in shower. Two bathrobes were available in the closet (a lot of hotels offer only 1). Wonderful, comfortable bed with pillow top, nice feather pillows, luxurious sheets. They had free wireless internet - however connection was spotty in places and I couldn't use my laptop... more

I cannot believe some of these reviews!Simply because our stay was a fiasco. The room & service at the front desk, ordering room service at dinner time was I was so rushed by whoever took the orders by phone, that of course what arrived was not entirely what we ordered. The concierge seemed busy , reading the paper as we passed by... more

I love this hotel. The service is great and the property is fabulous! The decor is colorful and cheery -- what a treat. Good sized rooms; unlike some reviews below, I did not find the bed hard--it was just fine! Lovely linens and fine Aveda toiletries. I am so glad I found this hotel--I will stay here whenever I am... more

This was my first time staying at Le Soliel and will certainly not be my last. From the nicely appointed lobby with a couple of comfortable lounge areas to the fantastic one bedroom suite visitors are engulfed in chic Euro style. The staff was also to the European standards of excellence where hoteliers hold their professional positions as full careers.... more
