This was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Not only was it a great value, it was located right in the heart of the Robson Street shopping district, it was close to the waterfront, and everything we wanted to see in Vancouver was just a quick walk or a short bus ride away. We were totally satisfied with the Hotel Listel. Location is the best-close enough to downtown yet vibrant with cafes and shops for the evening. Hotel is very clean, tastefully decorated and service oriented. Our room (5th floor facing Robson) had a pleasant window seat, a new flat screen and large windows which opened. I chose this hotel simply from an online referral, and I could not have been more pleased. This small hotel has quite a European feel, and has an art emphasis--some floors are decorated with artifacts from the Pacific Northwest native tribes, while others focus on different artists.
