I spent the night of May 17, 2009 in Room 315 of the Quality Inn, Vancouver Airport. After checking out I noticed bothersome red and itchy bite marks on my hands, arms, face, neck and back, a condition which I did not have prior to my stay. For several days I suffered from the troublesome itching caused by these bite... more

This is the worst place I've ever stayed. The van from the airport should have been a clue. It was filthy on the outside and the inside was full of debris - wrappers, old cups, etc. The seats were even dirty. The room was run down and dirty, and not newly remodeled as AAA described. I had visions of bed... more

It was relatively cheap for Vancouver, price-wise. The garage was secured, a little shady. The hallways seemed to be similar to the ones from the Shining. Our room came with a table, fridge, Queen size bed, telephone, crappy television set, and a large window. Very cramped room; restroom was surprisingly spacious. Next door neighbors were raping on some craked up... more

So we booked this place in a bit of an emergency when our flight to YVR was cancelled the following morning in anticipation of an ice storm and we needed to rush to the airport the night before and fly out. We barely made the flight, let alone had time to book some place. I found this on my blackberry... more

Echoing what others have mentioned, this hotel is run-down, as you'd note from half the letters on the roof-level sign being burnt-out. Both available ice machines were broken, and one of the two drink vending machines (although I wouldn't be surprised if the other didn't work as well). Cleanliness was questionable. TV signal was noisy. The complimentary continental breakfast was... more

Stranded here when our flights got cancelled and the airline would not help. Run down place, friendly staff though. Water pipes had exploded, so the whole place was a mess. Good airport shuttle, be sure to reserve in advance to get a place, otherwise it's about 15 CAD to get to the airport by taxi. The room was noisy, our... more

I have been a frequent traveller for business and pleasure since the the mid-eighties and I can tell you that this was one of, if not the worst, hotels I have ever stayed in. I am only glad it was the one night. The staff was useless, hotel and rooms were filthy, smokey smelling, old and dingy. Whatever you do... more

Found this hotel via the CAA travel book. Our room was in really bad shape. Part the floorboards were falling off. The electrical outlet in the bathroom was falling off and looked unsafe. The bed was at least 20+ years old. The building is really run down. Contrary to the CAA add the rooms have not been renovated since 1970... more

Upon arrival at front desk, I waited for at least 20 minutes for the attendant to check in the people in front of me. The phones for customer use at the front desk did not work. Attendant told me to drive to the parking garage gate and honk, he will open the gate, I did that, but had to wait... more

I am just adding to a previous review. Stayed at this hotel in January and you can read the previous review. Just wanted to add that when we got home and our visa bill came in we noticed a additonal charge on our visa of 199.00. I called the hotel and asked to speak to the manager and who's charge... more
